For many decades, orchidophilia was restricted to collecting exclusively plants found in nature. Nostalgia on the one hand, but also of great restriction, in which the copies, negotiated at a price on the other, were in very few collections.   With the popularization of orchid breeding, unfortunately this part of history has been erasing year after year, and many can no longer be found.
